Forest stock patterns
The forest resource pattern refers to a forest area that is uniform in terms of intervention needs, habitat and stand. The average pattern size in the dataset is about 1.4 hectares.

Forest resource patterns can be used, for example, in forest-related spatial data analyzes and in the planning of forest management and logging work. Particularly important habitats under the Forest Act and other known natural values ​​are included in the material.

The forest resource patterns collected by the Forest Center are openly available as interfaces and spatial data sets.

Data update frequency Forest stock patterns are updated twice a week. The update starts on Tuesdays at 00.05 and Fridays at 6 p.m. For interfaces, the update takes about 1-4 hours. For download for data packages, the information is updated in about 24-36 hours. In the case of downloadable data packages, there will be a daily outage at 05.30- 06.30. In this case, the updated data packages are distributed.
